Goin’ Bald for Bucks is an unforgettable way to show your support for the adolescent and young adult programs at 13thirty Cancer Connect as well as the cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate patient-care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute! Participants raise funds and then shave their heads or cut their hair for donation.

Planning an event can be challenging if you’ve never done it before, but it’s fun and rewarding — and we make it easy with step-by-step instructions.

Here’s how you can get started:

1Start with the basics

Choose a date, time and location. Be sure to book your space right away. Ask your friends, family, fellow students or coworkers to Go Bald with you and make sure they save the date.

2Register Online

Now that you know when and where you’re hosting your event, tell the Goin’ Bald for Bucks team about it by registering your event online and get connected with the team who will support you along your event journey. Once you’re registered, we’ll drop you an email to say hi!

3Receive your event pack

We’re here to help you succeed! We will send you a special event package in the mail, filled with lots of goodies to throw an awesome event and help you fundraise. Keep an eye on your mailbox for this fun packet packed with tips, posters, balloons and much more!

4Recruit Team Members and Start Fundraising

Share your event details with everyone you know and ask them to snip, clip or shave their way to cancer cures with you! The bigger your team, the more funds you can raise!
